Tiang Lee Kiin

I forgot! The chimpanzee that greeted monkeys and elephants is actually Tiang Lee Kiin. He said we cannot be too serious on a blog, so he decided to make me put that on to give a lighter touch.

As a financial consultant, he is still rearing fish. Fish! Yes! He did that during the school years. People like Michael Wong and Thomas Ting would probably recollect. I remember him as a very enterprising chap doing good fish(y) business those time.

Details of Proposed Reunion

Somehow the sms that I sent out to those whom I have contact did not manage to get through to some. My apologies.

Managed to talked to Michael Ding on the phone last week. He suggested the reunion date of December 31, 2009. He would organize the event. As soon as the details are out I will post it here for all. At the meantime please let me have your comments on the proposed date of Dec 31. Send in your comments here. Let's give it till end of July before confirming the date.

For those of you who are apprehensive about posting your telephone and email numbers on the blog, please kindly send me an email. I will compile a contact list list and circulate through email.

Meeting in KK

Ya. I met Gabriel and Tiang Lee Kiin in KK recently. In fact I managed to locate Lee Kiin from internet search; and he got in touch with Gabriel; and we got together at Star Buck's. Boy, Gabriel is fit and he looked like a 30 years old! What's the secret, Gabriel? You'd got to share with us. Lee Kiin did put on a few kg, from my impression of him some 20 years ago when he visited me in Shenzhen in 1992.

I must admit I did not send out any notification to anyone regarding this blog, except for Gabriel and Lee Kiin. I will send out sms to those of you whom I have the phone contacts. Please response on the blog, and inform other classmates you are in touch with.

By the way, Michael, which date do you propose to have the reunion? and where? It would be nice to fix it so that those outstation can plan and book flight, cheaper now; and for those with busy schedule you can plan well ahead.

Class Reunion 2009

Ya, I am talking about that class from Sacred Heart Secondary School, Sibu. That was the Form 5 class in 1978. Classmates include Michael Ding, Roland Lau, Thomas Ting, John Wong, Ngui Kong Kiet, etc.

I was in Sibu in October (I think) last year and met with Michael Ding who organised a dinner with a few classmates, namely David Siong, Justine Young, Joseph Tang, Wong Kok Tai. Michael suggested a class reunion in December 2009 and we all thought it is a great idea. Now what is left is how to contact everyone in the class.

I think it might be good to set up a blog where all of us can use to stay in touch. So here I am creating this blog from KK. I hope all of our classmate can get to know and access this blog and leave a message here. As we have not met for a long time please do fill us in a little about yourself and a photo would be great.

Let me start.. Well I am, of course, Joseph Hu. For the last 18 years I have been working in China except for 2000-2003 when I was in Singapore. Now I am still officially resident in Shenzhen, China, but I am spending a fair bit of time in KK, helping to set up an organic farm. My contact is as follows:

Name : Joseph Hu (Hii)
Add : B6-5B Wei Lan Hai An, Nanshan, Shenzhen, China 518054
HP : +86-13859715028 (China)
